One week to go and two more players joining our effort

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone.

The ICL is set to start next week on Wednesday, at 21:00 Central European Time. Therefore, we should make our last minute preparations and make sure that we’re ready to go. In order to do that, I would like you to check your schedules and send me by email or by BBO message the Wednesdays that you will not be available to play during the time period 4 of March 2020 – 3 of June 2020 (apart from 22 and 29 of April).

I believe it would also be useful if you could do your last minute reading on bridge conventions and perhaps try to play at least a couple of hands with fellow team mates. It is possible that a sub may be needed and therefore you may be required to play with any player from our team.

Greer Mackenzie and Kath Nelson (yo_yo   & greerm) from Northern Ireland are very experienced players and will join our effort for a few sessions. We are pleased to see them joining our team.

I was informed a few days ago that there were at least 49 entries of teams competing in the ICL.

I am looking forward to your feedback as regards the dates of your availability as well as on any other issue that you would like to discuss with me.
