Dear teammates,
The ICL competition will kick off tomorrow at 19:45-20:00 CET. It will be played each week and always on Wednesday, but on 4th November, and it will end on 9th December.
The rules are basically the same. In this edition there are eighty-nine teams from thirty countries, sorted out in twelve groups by seven or eight teams. After the seven match of the round robin, the best forty teams will advance to the knock-out stage by this way:
– The first two teams of each group, twenty-four overall, will get the bye to the Round of 32;
– The third team of each group, and the four best teams ranked fourth between all groups, that is sixteen teams, will play the preliminary knock-out stage to enter the Round of 32. “Best fourth” refers to the victory points earned against the first three teams of their own group.
