Today’s match was once again, won by Kampala. The match was played in two halves (8 boards each) . In the first half, we beat our hosts 37 -14 IMPs. Excellent bidding coupled by a few heavy mistakes of our opponents made this happen.
In the second half, the pairs were switched and the team of Ljubljana gained momentum, with a successful double on our overbid contract. The other boards were mostly balanced , apart from a couple of hands won by our team. The second half was won by the team of Ljubljana by a margin of 2 IMPs, 13-11.
Overall, our team won this match by a margin of 21 IMPs, very nice.
